It can’t be normal to lose that much drive space overnight, now can it??
empty your temp internet files, delete your cookies, clear the history, then click start, then choose the run, type in , msconfig hit enter, select the stratup tab, uncheck all. then hit apply, then look thru the list , and make sure to put checks in theantivirus box. then click the apply button again, and then ok . the computer will reboot,,, when it comes back up , put a check in the box , so the msconfig box doesnt show every time your computer reboots. if there is a rely virus that loads on start up you have prevented it from being loaded when you reboot.
now take a few minutes to run a good anti virus program .
you might also check for a rootkit, or a server hidden on your drive,
you could be sending out spam with out even knowing it .
or hosting a porn site for some one , there might also have some bad sectors on the drive,,, also if the drive has een subjected to extreme heat. or had been dropped, it copuld explain many of the things you are experiencing.

Kids in these days are smarter in tech world than adults. If you believe those simple method can prevent them from accessing porn sites, you are seriously mistaken. If you set block options in IE, they can still use different browser. Parental control software is also useless. Kids can simply bypass them entirely by booting with Linux Live CD – although you don’t know what it is, please don’t assume kids don’t know them. There is virtually no way to prevent them. However, if I would do it, I would block them from router (not on browser, not on PC) with both blocked URL, IP, and keyword. If this seems to be too technical, please seek a help from experts
